Traditionally, the word “Process” seems to indicate a linear progression.  Not so with Product Development.  Like the strands of a rope, the different disciplines of Product Design, Manufacturing and Marketing, have to flow together to create the strongest and most successful development processes.

These three parallel paths involve idea generation and refinement of product design engineering; the other relates to market research and analysis and promotional considerations, finally the third path involves the intellectual property research and protection, as well and the steps of manufacturing and distribution. 

You need all three avenues to reach the ultimate goal of a successful product launch.
